पाँचवें चरण वाले सम्पूर्ण जीव यानि पक्षियों में चील, बाज़, व गिद्ध के पंजों के कार्य। बचपन से वयस्कता तक के इन पांचों चरणों में किसी भी जीव की सम्पूर्ण और बिल्कुल सही गतिविधियां व जीवन शैली सही अर्थो में वयस्कता यानि पांचवें चरण में निखर कर सामने आती है जिन में सबसे विशेष चील, बाज़, व गिद्ध के पंजों के कार्य के विषय में इस अध्याय में वर्णन किया गया है।
गिद्ध के पंजों मे ढोने की शक्ति (Lifting Power) होती है। बाज़ के पंजों में पकड़ने की शक्ति (Gripping Power) होती है और चील के पंजो मे छीन्ने की शक्ति (Snatching Power) होती है असल मे चील के पंजो मे उठाने की शक्ति तो होती है लेकिन पकड़ने की शक्ति नहीं होती ऐसे मे जब चील के पंजो मे उठाने की शक्ति तो है लेकिन पकड़ने की नही तो वह छीन्ने व खरोंचने की शक्ति कहलाती है यानि चील के पंजो मे छीन्ने और खरोंचने की शक्ति (Snaching Power & Scratching Power) होती है। जिस प्रकार बादलों मे वाष्प (Gas) और पानी अथवा बर्फ़ होती है जिससे वाष्प (Gas) का सम्बन्ध आंधी-तूफ़ान से और पानी का सम्बन्ध बिजली से होता है उसी प्रकार गिद्ध के पंजो में ढोने की शक्ति का सम्बन्ध बाज़ के पंजो की पकड़ और चील के पंजो के छीन्ने दोनों से मेल खाता है। बाज़ में शिकार को पकड़ने व मारने की शक्ति होती है और चील में छीन्ने की जब बाज़ शिकार पकड़ता है तब चील उससे शिकार का कुछ हिस्सा छीन कर ले जाती है जिससे शिकार चील व बाज़ दोनों में आपस में बंट जाता है। बाज़ के हिस्से में अच्छे पौष्टिक तत्व आते है और चीलों के हिस्सेे में बचे कूचे कम पौष्टिक तत्व आते है। यह प्रक्रिया उसी प्रकार से होती है। जिस प्रकार बिजली किसी चीज़ पर गिरकर उसे राख़ बनाती है तो उस राख़ को आंधी उड़ाकर ले जाती है।
बादल, बिजली, और आंधी जैसा रिश्ता है आपस में चील, बाज़ और गिद्ध का।
